The type of parametric design used is a basic one. The main intention was to get familiar with the parametric designs and its execution in a project. I have tried to use the parametric design for the Chajjas to the four windows on the front side of the building.
The Chajjas are designed in 4 sizes as 6' * 4.8', 5'*4', 4' * 3.2', 3' * 2.4'. they serve various purpose depending on the area in which they are used as per the intensity of rainfall. the correlation is a direct one.
The width of the chajja is designed by formulating it as
Width = 0.8 * Depth.
The various views with the changes in sizes of the chajjas are shown below.
Chajja Size 3 ft *2.4ft.
Chajja Size 4 ft * 3.2 ft
Chajja Size 5 ft * 4 ft
Chajja Size 6 ft * 4.8 ft
