This Project was the most interesting and personally most challenging of all. For this project we went one step ahead, The BIM model which was already prepared in the previous project was modified here, I added a dimension to it, That of scheduling.
The procedure to make a 4D mode began with creating an detail schedule in MSP for my project, The schedule preparation was carried out with routine scheduling of tasks and assigning the predecessor. The schedule analysed the project to be completed in 54 days including the holidays.This same schedule was than imported into Navisworks, where i had already exported m revit file in DWF format.
The naviswork is a very user friendly software with compatibility with many scheduling softwares such as the MSP and primavera. after importing the MSP scedule and the revit file it was almost done, I just had to attach the respective components of my structure with the schedule and after attaching them had to select construct.
it helped me to view the structure formation right from the inception to its end as per the scheduled prepared by me. i have tried to create two types of view in navisworks.one is a regular one where all the construction is viewed from external perspective. The other view is a interesting view where i have tried to show a walk through of my model where the scene starts just outside the main door and the view take us through the first flooor and travels on the staircase for the second floor.
I have further created a video on movie maker for the presentation where i have combined both the views. once can watch the video by clicking on following link. i will like to make further improvements in my model in future by adding some more view to my naviswork model such as the one in which i can view 3 views simultaneously each view from different perspective.
