Project 2-1

                                            Integration Of BIM and Web

For Task 2, I had to export the Revit file to DWF format so as to view all the drawings on a webpage. I designed the webpage using Adobe Dreamweaver. This is the main webpage to which the other webpages and queries would be linked. I created 2 other web pages that throws light on various elements i.e. the Garage Door and the bettle car . The Object IDs of these elements as seen on the main web page when the mouse was moved over them, were used to link them to the other web pages. On clicking each element, the respective webpage would open, showing information about that object.
Details Of Column used in the project

Details Of the Lighting Fixtures

The further taskof the project was to display the details of couple of units used in the project, where i selected the lighting fixtures and the column structures used in the project. In short it was linking of the above mentioned units to the access database. So when i click on the column structure as shown in the figure i can view all the ids of the fixtures used and the number of column structures used in the project.
The Project 2 was a challenging one and introduced us to the use of dream viewer, Microsoft access. It was a indeed a learning task.
